Puas mencari sambal belacan masa nak beli lunch kat cafe tadi tapi tak disediakan. How can a cafe not providing any sambal belacan? I just cannot think of it because among the attraction of a kedai makan would be the sambal belacan and the ulam-ulaman.
Anyway, makan saja-lah apa yang ada although the thrill of it is not so..so... I am a cili padi a.k.a. cabai melaka a.k.a cili burung fan. A must have for a home made lunch or dinner. Kalau tak ada rasa macam tak lengkap.
I used to plant the cili padi/cili burung while staying in Bangi. It was so voluptiuos and I really enjoyed picking it up until I got pregnant for my sixth child. Lansung tak hingin dan nak tengok pun the cili padi. Penangan pregnant masa tu.
I would love to try masak pekasam lemak Cili Padi (Perlis Style) that I copy and paste from Major Ismail website. Teringat lunch di Pokok Sawa/Ciku Di Mata Ayer, Perlis. It was an enjoyable moment having lunch with friends and a most memorable moment dating with husband during the lunch time.

d) Daun kunyit 3 helai
e) Asam papan 2 keping
f) Cili padi 10 biji - ditumbuk
g) Jantung pisang - dihiris
h) Kunyit lipat - 1" ditumbuk
